Terms of Service

These terms describe the basic rules for using Shareout to upload, store, and share files.

Last updated April 28, 2026

Use of the service

You may use Shareout to upload files you own or have permission to share. You are responsible for the content you upload and for making sure your use complies with applicable laws and third-party rights.

Accounts and access

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials and API keys secure. Activity performed with your credentials may be treated as activity from your account.

Uploads and links

Shared links may make uploaded files available to anyone who has the link. You should delete files you no longer want available, and avoid uploading sensitive content unless you understand the sharing behavior.

Subscriptions and billing

Paid plans are billed through our payment provider. Plan features, storage limits, and prices may change, but changes will not reduce your paid access during an already-paid billing period unless required for legal, security, or abuse-prevention reasons.

Acceptable use

Do not use Shareout to distribute illegal, harmful, infringing, abusive, or malicious content. We may suspend access, remove content, or limit service availability when needed to protect users, the service, or third parties.

Availability and liability

Shareout is provided as available, without warranties of uninterrupted operation or fitness for a particular purpose. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of the service.

Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Shareout after updated terms are posted means you accept the updated terms.
